Idyllic guest house with OKALUX capillary system

On a scenic four-hectare slope overlooking the Hudson Valley, a pavilion-like guest house complements the existing building according to a master plan by architects HGX Design.

With its generous use of glass, the building is reminiscent of Mies van der Rohe's Farnsworth House. Inserted on opposite sides, the windows provide a visual axis that creates a connection with the surrounding landscape. Our elegant light-diffusing OKALUX insulating glass with a capillary plate installed in the space between the panes ensures desired privacy as well as uniform and shadow-free illumination with daylight deep into the room.
